Weil family garden

Weil family garden

In 1875, the year of their marriages, Henry and Solomon Weil built adjoining houses on West Chestnut Street in the center of Goldsboro, with a shared garden in between. The homes had running water for baths and gas heat; water and sewerage were installed in the early 1890s.
