Mirali Sharon belongs to the first generation of native Israeli choreographers, who sought to create contemporary dance with a uniquely Israeli character. She collaborated with her fellow artists in the music, literary, architectural and plastic arts to choreograph dances with a "vibrant Israeli quality shining through a tissue of otherwise contemporary influences."
