Natzler-Gertrud-2 - still image

In her unending quest for absolute perfection of form, the ceramicist Gerrtud Natzler produced nearly 25,000 hand-thrown pots, bowls and bottles of extraordinary refinement, delicacy and proportion. In this picture, taken during the late 1950s, Gertrud is working with her husband and fellow artist, Otto, in their studio at the Brandeis Camp Institute.
