Letter Sent to Potential Speakers for the Jewish Women's Congress

Letter Sent to Potential Speakers for the Jewish Women's Congress

This was one of the many letters sent out by Solomon and her planning committee to recruit speakers. The process of finding delegates and essayists to the attend the congress was made even more difficult by the fact that, "dozens of Jewesses disclaim affiliation - where hundreds proclaim indifference and confess absolute ignorance of Jewish history and literature." This sad fact further convinced Solomon of the need for a permanent Jewish women's organization.
