Destroyed Copy of 'Diary of Anne Frank'
This photograph was taken in the destroyed bedroom of a Jewish teenage girl in Lakeview. It is a close up of her ruined belongings piled on her bed. You can see a copy of the Diary of Anne Frank and an Ugg boot, among other clothes and books. This photo was taken by Jayne Guberman, Director of Oral History at the Jewish Women's Archive on May 9, 2006 in New Orleans.
