Certificate Marking Sokolow's 80th Birthday with the Planting of Trees in Israel, 1990

It is common in the Jewish world to pay tribute to loved ones by planting trees in Israel - a desert country - in their honor. Sokolow must have been very moved when her Israeli friends planted such a large grove of trees in her name marking her 80th birthday in 1990.
