Bais-Yaakov-2 - still image
After the Holocaust, the base of the Bais Ya'akov movement shifted to the United States and Israel, where dozens of schools provide a forum for successive generations of young women to receive a Jewish and secular education, while serving as a bulwark against their assimilation. Pictured here is the 2005 graduating class of Prospect Park Bnos Leah Girls' High School, a Bais Ya'akov in Brooklyn, New York.
