"Imagination, what a wonderful gift! With it a child can turn a crate into a castle and anyone's favorite dolly can be a queen. A good imagination is a child's most precious toy.

"But there is more to these games than fantasy. As a child learns to care for her doll, she also learns to care for herself, and what's more important, she learns to care for others. This ability to teach children to share their love is a doll's greatest gift to us all."
