"It is unacceptable that here in the U.S. we cut Aid to Dependent Children while.increasing Aid to Dependent Corporations and Aid to Dependent Military Contractors.

Women demand a 5% slice of the world's trillion dollar military pie which would provide a banquet for the world's poor.

We demand our full sexual and reproductive rights and freedoms.

We demand the right to credit and land and full access to the economy.

We demand an end to hypocrisies and the birth of real democracies where women share 50% of the political and economic decision-making space and resources.

Yes, we are demanding bread and roses.

They may have raped, beaten, battered, burned and even bored us and still we resist....

Women will not simply be mainstreamed into the polluted stream.

Women are changing the stream, making it clean and green and safe for all - every gender, race, creed, sexual orientation, age and ability.

Each of us has the power within!

We will not be bullied, silenced or stopped. We will take our place as 50% of humanity.

We will go forward!"
