What Else She Said

"I'm stubborn. I wasn't going to let [the men's resistance] stop [me] from opening this beautiful, beautiful material to the women. And they love it." "I believed it was important for women to be give this opportunity... the women have become very involved with the temple. Some have come back again and again to do Torah and Haftarah. And that is gratifying."

"It's made me a very popular lady at the temple! I walk in and hear, 'Hi, Hadassah. Good Shabbos, Hadassah.' So it has had an effect. And I've had some wonderful friendships."
