It became my life's work. It changed me. It gave me a passion, a direction. Since I started working in the prison, I became interested in working with those women, trying to do it in other situations...It got me interested in the prisons, and what we're doing in prisons. It gave me --it sounds kind of corny, but it really feels like my purpose -- my purpose is to do that kind of work.
