It is important to offer young people skills and opportunities but it also extremely important that you form a relationship where young people can tell that they are supported and loved... Each of these young people is precious [with] something important to say and they have a life experience people need to know about, and it needs to be expressed articulately. So [by] making these very first self portraits and the projects that we do, we try and get a window into their world and try to make social change.
