I think one of the nicest things that happened with SHALVA is that we've been able to go all across the country and help other communities. We've become a model. We've gotten calls from all over the country. [Executive Director] Sherry Dimarsky used to travel all over... Public awareness [of domestic abuse] took a big step because of SHALVA. Because we went public, other cities weren't afraid to do that.
