I feel very proud of having played a part in bringing a number of families to freedom. We succeeded in all the cases we took. It was a long journey, it was really a very, very interesting struggle for freedom for others... Just trying to do whatever I could, dedicating my life to this cause. It was always a challenge, because every family has their own situation... I worked hard to get people not only to have freedom to hope, but to experience freedom in their lives by finally gaining permission to emigrate. It is this freedom that gives people strength, and makes them so strong that you can't break them, and this is what gives them the will to survive.
