I had said it would last ten years? Well, now it's certainly global. I never dreamed it would be. I wouldn't say that I was the cause of that, but I would say that I contributed to it by speaking constantly when there was an opportunity to convince somebody that these children were not retarded.

You see, when I came into it, that's what they were considered. And that if you gave them a chance and gave them the setting in which it would flourish, you would be surprised. And they were.
