There was a moment at graduation that was very moving, when everyone got their diplomas. And I think there was a three- or four-star general who had come in to give out the diplomas, and he gave the graduation speech in Arabic. I think he was from an Arabic speaking home himself. So there were many moments that were not at all about preconceived ideas of what peace was or what activism is or about sticking up for your rights. All of that was gone. It was a very human setting, how people were trying to improve their lives through learning from each other. It was very moving for me.
