As a woman and as a Jew I see the strides that we've made as a Jewish people and as women. I see them to be an important part of politics and I'm hoping that ... they will continue to grow. In the 1920s when the Amendment was passed so that women could begin to vote I wasn't around, but I really admire those women who were the activists of the time, because now I see we have it so easy. I'm able to be Jewish freely, I'm able to be a free woman and I can be both together.
