WORK AND FAMILY:
The Women Who Dared point out that because the hours of the day are finite, combining activist work with family life can present logistical challenges. But some of these women have also discovered that often they are better parents as activists and better activists as parents. Many of the Women Who Dared have found ways to share their activism with their families and their children, imbuing both the current and next generation with the commitment to social change.
