David Serlin

David Serlin is an assistant professor of communication and science studies at the University of California, San Diego, and a historical consultant for the National Institutes of Health. He is the author of Replaceable You: Engineering the Body in Postwar America (2004) and the editor of Imagining Illness: Public Health and Visual Culture (forthcoming).
