Paula F. Pfeffer
Paula F. Pfeffer, a professor of American history at Loyola University Chicago, received her Ph.D. from Northwestern University. She is the author of A. Philip Randolph: Pioneer of the Civil Rights Movement. She also authored the chapter “A Historical Comparison of Catholic and Jewish Adoption Practices in Chicago, 1833–1938,” in Adoption in America: Historical Perspectives (ed. E. Wayne Carp), as well as articles on the history of blacks, of labor and of women.
