Jan Caryl Kaufman
Jan Caryl Kaufman is director of special projects for the Rabbinical Assembly, International Association of Conservative Rabbis. Kaufman was a founder and principal of the Solomon Schechter High School at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America and has worked at a number of Jewish institutions as administrator, librarian and rabbi. Kaufman was ordained as a rabbi at the Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute of Religion in New York, where she also received her M.A. She received her J.D. from George Washington University.
