Pam Hirsch

Pam Hirsch is a lecturer at the University of Cambridge and a Fellow of Newnham College.She has published on Barbara Bodichon, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Charlotte Bronte, George Eliot, Anna Mary Howitt, Elizabeth Hughes, Margaret Morris, George Sand and Mary Wollstonecraft. She is currently researching the life of the writer Phyllis Bottome, a British writer of the 1930s who attempted to warn the world about what the rise of Nazism would mean to the Jews of Europe.
