Argentina: Jewish Women

Argentina has the largest Jewish presence in Latin America and the third largest in the Western hemisphere. It features sizable numbers of Sephardim, North Africans, and Arabic speakers, aside from the Ashkenazic majority. Jewish women have been active in farming, education, the professions, and the arts, as well as participants in labor unions, leftist parties, and other movements.
