Steven Bowman

Steven Bowman is Professor of Judaic Studies at the University of Cincinnati where he has since 1980 been teaching inter alia a course on Women in the Bible. His main interests are the interaction of Greeks and Jews through the ages. He has published widely on the medieval and modern periods, including The Jews of Byzantium 1204–1453 (1985) and The Jews in the Greek Resistance during World War II (2005). He also edits The Sephardi and Greek Holocaust Library.
